I'm creating a pattern from an existing knit top. When I took the old top apart, I found clear elastic tape around the neckline and also at the gathered cuff. I had never used this type of product before. The clear elastic on the website was a different width than I found inside the existing garment, so I sent off some questions to Riverside. As always, very helpful answers came back. I ordered the clear elastic and it's just the thing to stabilize the knit.
